Our Wines

Chapter III

Our wine is craft with precision and finesse. After a traditional style of vinification in our parallelepipedal stainless steel vats, wine is aged in French oak barrels and in terra cotta amphoras during 14 to 18 months.

Since the 2018 vintage, we age 10 % of our batches in amphoras. The porosity of terra cotta increases the oxygen exposure. Oxygen allows to soften the wines and maintain the fruity aromas. Thus, we produce a fine wine, Chateau Larmande, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé.
